spsXChange: Communication between database applications and a Simatic or Scanner

spsXChange enables the exchange of data between a Simens Simatic and a database application.

Optionally real-time production data can be stored in a database for documentation or monitoring purposes.

Database functions or other additional logic in the database application can initiate information to be sent back to the Simatic. Even to different S7 data blocks.

The database functionality is in addition to the monitoring functions which can be used without an external database decider process.
